Rythm Returns to Lead LEGION For another year,

Rythm returns as commander of LEGION. Having led the side for several years in a row, he is not only familiar with the battlefield of Bellum, but also with the culture, expectations and fighting spirit that define LEGION as a force.

Rythm comes from a background of competitive sports and large-scale airsoft, with experience from major events in Sweden, Germany and Austria. His connection to big games runs deep. For him, few formats can match the intensity of working hard for several days in difficult conditions, facing an equal opponent and fighting as one coordinated force to come out on top.

As commander, Rythm sees one of his greatest challenges as building the team before the first shot is even fired. Bellum gives very little time to bring people together, establish structure and create a common understanding of how the side should operate. That is why preparation, atmosphere and trust become central parts of his leadership. His leadership style is built around mission command. When time allows, he involves his leaders in shaping the bigger picture and creating a shared understanding of the plan.

Once the game is underway, communication must be short, clear and effective. Rythm often works with what he describes as “saddle orders”: orders simple enough to be delivered quickly, without slowing down the tempo. The aim is to give leaders enough clarity to understand the intent, while still giving them the freedom to develop their own ideas, adapt to the situation and execute the mission. This approach fits LEGION’s identity.

Over the past years, LEGION has built a strong and distinct team spirit around collaboration, initiative and support between players. There is no room for ego. If someone has a better idea, use it. If no orders are coming, take initiative. If a teammate is struggling, help them. That mentality is what allows LEGION to keep moving even when the conditions become demanding.

Rythm sees the relationship between commander, HQ, squad leaders and players as the foundation of the side’s performance. The framework must be built before arriving on site, because once the game begins, communication can become limited, pressured or even temporarily unavailable. In those moments, leaders and players must understand the intent well enough to act without waiting for perfect information.

LEGION’s style of play will continue to build on what has made the side successful in previous years: strong cooperation between units, aggressive action and a willingness to take control of the field. Rythm’s LEGION is not passive. It is a side that pushes, adapts and looks for ways to seize the initiative. When plans break down, Rythm expects both HQ and field leaders to step up. Decisions often need to be made quickly and with incomplete information. The important thing is to act, adapt as new intelligence comes in and keep the side moving toward the objective.

In a game like Bellum, hesitation can cost momentum. LEGION’s strength lies in its ability to adjust without losing direction. For Rythm, Bellum holds a special place. He describes it as one of the premier competitive big games in Europe, and if he could only attend one event in a year, Bellum would be the one. That says a lot about what this event means to him and why leading LEGION here matters.

Players who join LEGION can expect a hard-working, well-organized and highly collaborative side. This is a team for those who want to win, who are willing to go the extra mile and who keep contributing even when they are cold, wet, hungry and tired. In return, they will find a side that supports its players, values input and keeps its HQ open for updates, missions, feedback or simply a moment to regroup.

Under Rythm’s command, LEGION will continue the tradition it has built over several years: disciplined cooperation, aggressive execution and a team spirit strong enough to carry the side through the hardest parts of the event. LEGION does not wait for the battlefield to decide the outcome. LEGION takes the initiative, holds the line and fights to win. Rythm returns. LEGION advances.
